Rorty's Philosophical Culture of Post-modernism

Combining Wittgenstein's language games and logical positivism,Quine and Davidson's philosophy of language and Dewey's pragmatism,Rorty tries to combine the British and American analytic philosophy and their continental counterparts in order to create an alliance of a certain neo-pragmatism and post-structuralism.Therefore,he criticizes analytic philosophy,deconstructs the philosophical tradition of Western metaphysic as epistemology and puts forward a philosophical culture of post-modernism to oppose the representationism and foundationalism of Western traditional philosophy.
