Abstract

The pulse waveform design is a key research topic in ultra-wideband(UWB) wireless communications.According to the constraint of the power spectral emission mask of Federal Communications Commission(FCC),two kinds of algorithm are presented for UWB pulse shaping based on Gaussian monocycles, and then comparisons of their merits are made.
