The Application of Vernacular Landscape in Campus Landscape Design

Abstract

Based on the full understanding of vernacular landscape,the problems of vernacular landscape in campus landscape design were analyzed.Then,through analyzing the design on Changqing Campus of Shandong Communications College,the paper discussed how to analyze and use the existing conditions and how to extract and inherit landscape resources in order to create the campus environment with local colour.Finally,the application of vernacular landscape in campus landscape design was summarized from practical level to provide the reference and direction for campus landscape construction.
