Abstract
Peanut dry matter accumulation, distribution and transfer were studied under plastic film mulch and normal cultivation conditions. Results showed that all dry matter of leaves was distributed to nutritive organs in seeding stage, while it was mostly transferred to reproductive organs in flowering stage. The plant population in pod filling and maturation still kept a certain LAI, and the leaves continued to provide dry matter for reproductive organs. There were some advantages for dry matter accumulation, distribution and transfer in plastic film mulch condition compared with the normal cultivation conditions. It was mainly shown on the increase of LAI and improvement of biomass. Plastic film mulch could significantly increase soil temperature, plough layer soil water and available nutrient content.
