Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of bleomycin combined with local thermotherapy in the treatment of NSCLC patients with malignant pleural effusion. Methods 50 NSCLC patients with malignant pleural effusion were randomly divided into two groups. All patients were treated with thoracentesis and inserted central venous catheter to drainage pleural effusion. After exhaustion of pleural effusion,the control group was treated with bleomycin by pleural perfusion,and the experiment group was treated with local thermotherapy on the base of the control group. The treatment,side effect and quality of life were compared. Results After the treatment,the KPS scores of living quality and the total effective rate of controlling pleural effusion were better in the experiment group than in the control group( P 0. 05),and the side effect was significant lower in the experiment group than in the control group( P 0.05). Conclusion Bleomycin combined with local thermotherapy has a synergistic effect in the treatment of NSCLC with malignant pleural effusion.
