Abstract
Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)is one kind of protein synthesized and secreted by many normal and neoplastic cells. The family of VEGF includes five members including Vascular endothelial growth factor-A,Vascular endothelial growth factor-B,Vascular endothelial growth factor-C,Vascular endothelial growth factor-D and placental growth factor.Vascular endothelial growth factor has three receptors, they are called.Flt-1,Flt-4 and Flk-1/KDR respectively. The proliferation of vascular endothelial cell and permeability of vessel are stimulated when the VEGF combines with its receptors.VEGF and its receptors have important role on the female's regular development and maintainance of follicular on ovarium and corpus, luteum, endometrial tissues's regular changes and embryo's development and implantation.
