Abstract

Objective: To investigate the susceptibility of German cockroach including six field-collected strains to the common pesticides in Liaoning Province.Method:The method of contact with chemical cover was used in this study. Result:The resistance ratios of six field-collected strains to Deltamethrin were between 1.91 and 3.50, to Permethrin were between 1.85 and 2.75, to DDVP were between 1.79 and 4.63 and to Propoxur were between 1.28- 1.65. Conclusion: Field-collected strains excepte Chaoyang strain had resistance to Deltamethrin and Permethrin. They are susceptible to Propoxur. Dalian and Liaoyang Strains had resistance to DDVP.
