Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of using magnesium sulfate combined with metoprolol to treat acute myocardial infarction with ventricular arrhythmias. Methods One hundred and six patients with ventricular arrhythmias after acute myocardial infarction were randomly divided into control group in which patients received dolicaine and observation group in which patients received magnesium sulfate combined with metoprolol.Three days after acute myocardial infarction and four to thirty days after acute myocardial infarction, the incidence of ventricular arrhythmias and indicators of cardiac function before and after treatment were compared. Results The incidence of ventricular arrhythmias of the patients in the observation group was obviously lower than that of the control group(P 0.01).The LVEF,FS and E/A of the patients in both groups after treatment were significantly improved than that of before treatment(P 0.01).Conclusion Treating acute myocardial infarction with ventricular arrhythmia with magnesium sulfate and metoprolol which can lower the incidence of ventricular arrhythmias is worth applying clinically.
