Abstract
With the rapid development of internet,the scope of network application has been expanding,and the network resources have become more abundant. At the same time,the network traffic is also growing day by day. In order to fully measure running status of network,we need to do more detailed and accurate measurements for network status. By the research of MRTG(Multi Router Traffic Grapher),which is one of the statistical analysis tools of network traffic based on SNMP,this paper uses MRTG to get some informations of the devices which are running by SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol),and then generate the PNG graphics and HTML documents that display to the user,so as to achieve the purposes of network traffic statistics and analysis.
