Abstract
Through deformation observation and analysis of foundation pit works in one subway station of Shanghai the principle for the layout of monitoring sites is introduced as well as suggestions for construction.Author points out that monitoring of foundation pit and surrounding buildings should be strengthened to realize information construction and ensure construction safety,which provide good references for the design,construction and monitoring of similar works.
