The Engineering of Anaerobic Treatment for Alcohol Production Wastewater

Abstract

UASB reactor was used to treaf wastewater from alcohol production.The inoculation sludge in the UASB was anaerobic sludge.After the start-up of reactor and the particle size of granular sludge grew to 1mm,reactor can upgrade the load in a short time to shorten the staring time.When the designed load is reached,the effluent COD is 8000mg/L,pH value is about 7.1,the removal rate is 82%.
