Abstract
Objective: To evaluate effectiveness of Q value adjusted EPI-Lasik(hereinafter referred to as Q-EPI-Lasik) in near-sight corrective operations for myopic patients associated with presbyopia. Methods: EPI-Lasik was applied to 100 myopic patients associated with presbyopia, the Q values was adjusted to-0.5~-0.9.Postoperative recovery of distant, intermediate vision and visual quality were observed. Results: 99 of the 100 patients with satisfactory effectiveness, only 1 patient complained of poor distant vision. Conclusion: application of Q-EPI-Lasik in corrective operations for myopic patients associated with presbyopia enables the patients to gain good distant, intermediate vision and good visual quality.
