Abstract

The experiment results revealed that main root growth and height growth of seedlings with excised roots were inhibited to a certain degree, but their ground diameter growth, lateral root development, fibrous roots quantity and root system moisture significantly improved, avoiding root malformation.Quality of container seedlings was also significantly superior to those of the control. The forestation survival rate was improved significantly than control.
