Abstract

Guogannian is the ethnic festival of Tujia people during which some activities are carried out to remember the soldiers and heroes died in the Anti-wo war.Guogannian of Tujia people in Yinjiang originates in the Anti-wo war between the late Yuan Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty and its customs are formed in Jiajing years of the Ming Dynasty and it conveys the ethnic culture,ethnic spirit,spirit of times and patriotism of Tujia people.
