Abstract

The relationships between biodiversity and standing aboveground biomass in L.chinensis steppe ecosystem and its interaction model were investigated and clarified according to an experiment of field ecological investigations carried out on a Leymus chinensis(Trin.) Tzvel.steppe in Dalinuoer natural reserve area,Keshiketeng Banner of Chifeng,Inner Mongolia.The grasslands were classified quantitatively into areas with different degradation degrees based on the plant community characteristics;the variations of species among treatments and their influences on community productivities were studied.The results show that the relationships between standing aboveground biomass and Shannon-Wiener index were positively linear among each treatment(P0.05),and a preferable correlative simulation between standing biomass and Shannon-Wiener index in experimental area was established.
