Abstract
This essay makes a comparative study on the novels between Zhang Ailing and Yuanyang—hudie school, and discusses their different themes under the similar story. At the same time, the author pays attention to their different tendency in popularization and personality of literature, which partly explain their different inference in modern times. Based on the above, the essay reflects on the possibility of penetration of popular literature and elite literature.
