Abstract

Carrying out the pattern of double season lotus rhizome interplanting with arrowhead,after lotus seed and arrowhead seed were germinated, the spring lotus rhizome was planted during the last ten days of February and the second ten days of March,and the autumn lotus rhizome during the last ten days of June and the first ten days of July;the arrowhead was planted from the last ten days of August to the first ten days of September.For proper plant density,the spring lotus rhizome was planted with 34500plant/hm~2,the autumn one was 49500 plant/hm~2 and the arrowhead was 75000 plant/hm~2.For scientific fertilizing,the basic fertilizer and fertilizer for growing lotus rhizome were heavily applied and the additional fertilizer was at seedling stage.The principle of properly water management for spring lotus rhizome was shallow-deep-shallow,and that of the autumn lotus rhizome was deep-shallow-deep.Diseases,pests and weed should be controlled effectively.Lotus bud should be removed and the lotus rhizome should be harvested timely.
