On the Social Mobility and Its Evaluation of Chu State in the Spring & Autumn Period and the Warring States Period

In the Spring Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,Chu State’s social mobility was mainly manifested in the Chu royal family group’s change and the bureaucrats’ social stratum change.These changes include the old aristocrats’decline and new aristocrats’rising,as well as the Chu talents’outflow and the alien race inflow.Relatively speaking,in the Warring States period,the Chu state’s social mobility was greater than that in the Spring Autumn Period,but there was not the reasonablity mobility mechanism,and the system of nobility was a big barrier for social mobility.
