The paper analyzes the significant of alfalfa prataculture on the Loess plateau from the viewpionts of its role in ecological restoration, its regional superiorities and its high ecnomic benefit. Furthermore, it puts forward the train of thought and the countermeasures of development and utilization of alfalfa.
