Abstract

Several kinds of mathematical models that are usually used,such as rigorous model and short-cut model,were reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of each model were simply discussed.The research progress on operation model of batch distillation was particularly introduced.The operation of cyclic batch distillation,inverted batch distillation,middle vessel batch distillation and the multi-effect batch distillation was discussed.
