Abstract
The most preferable synthesis process for quaternary ammonium salt of chitosan in heterogeneous system was discussed.2,3-epoxypropyl-trimethyl ammonium chloride(EPTMAC) was used as ethering agent, the molar ratio of EPTMAC to chitosan was 1.5,and the mass fraction of EPTMAC was 35%.The reaction temperature was 80 ℃,and the reaction time was 10 hours. The obtained quaternary ammonium salt of chitosan is soluble in water. It has fine flocculation performance to the oilfield produced water.
