Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship between dosage and exposure time of a broad-spectrum fumigant sulfuryl fluoride in deratting. Methods:All groups of rats were fumigated using the method of static respiratory-tract inhalation. Symptoms of intoxication and death were recorded. The experimental data were simulated and predicted using response-surface model and also verified by field studies. Results:The response-surface model was highly significant in statistics(P 0.000 1), total R 2 is 0.884. The linear, quadratic and crossproduct regression items were also significant, with the determining coefficients 0.509,0.350,0.026 respectively. All of the deratting rates attained 100% in field model mentioned above. Conclusion:The relationship between dosage and exposure time of sulfuryl fluoride in deratting is founded, which offers a scientific proof for the fumigation later.
