Abstract
To study the effect of SLC25A6 mRNA expression levels in the brain tissue of yak on energy utilization,a standard curve for SLC25A6 genetic absolute quantification was established using the method of absolute quantification. The results showed that the amplification efficiency( E) of standard curve was 104.0%,and its regression coefficient was R2= 0. 998,and the slope was- 3. 230,the peak value of melting curve was single; the detection values of absolute quantification showed that the overall difference in the expression levels of the SLC25A6 mRNA in each parts of the brain tissue of yak,was statistically significant( P 0. 05),and the detection values of the SLC25A6 mRNA ranging from high to low were in the cerebellum, hippocampus, occipital lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and frontal lobe, and the expression level of the SLC25A6 gene in the cerebellum was significantly higher than that in the other tissues( P 0. 05); the lowest expression level of the SLC25A6 was detected in the frontal lobe( P 0. 05),and the expression level of the gene in cerebellum was 3. 7 times as high as that in the frontal lobe;the differences of the expression levels in the hippocampus, occipital lobe, parietal lobe were not statistically significant( P 0. 05),neither were in the frontal lobe and temporal lobe( P 0. 05). The results indicate that the energy consumption intensity in cerebellum may be greatest in the brain tissue of yak,and the cellular activities are vigorous, while the energy consumption intensity in the frontal lobe is lowest.
