Abstract
A GPS receiver design proposal is presented in this paper which is based on EM411 GPS module and PIC18F2520 microcontroller.The design features simple hardware circuit,low cost,high sensitivity.The GPS receiver stores the receiving data in SD card in FAT file format and transmit GPS data to e-map through SD card.The design will bring great convenience for out of field and outdoor work.
