Abstract

SUMAAN Ⅱ and Ketamine were usual narcotic drugs used in general anesthesia, anesthesia induction, maintenance of anesthesia and compound general anesthesia of laboratory animal. SUMAAN Ⅱ was suitable for anesthesia of Rhesus macaques, but could lead to incomplete anesthesia of rats, rabbit, canine, caprineand swine. Compound general anesthesia of SUMAAN Ⅱ and Ketamine was satisfacting.
