Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to discuss the flowering habits of hybrid rice CMS lines under different high an low temperature.[Method] The tested two sterile lines,T176A and Songnian 5022A,were bred by Jilin and Heilongjian newly. The designed high temperature was 32,35 ℃ and low temperature was 15,17 ℃.[Result] The flower time and flowering peak value were all ahead of time, and the average spikelet flowering rate before noon increased under 32 and 35 ℃ temperature. The 15 and 17 ℃ temperature treatments restrained blooming of sterile lines and restorer lines and decreased their average spikelet flowering rate before noon. There were no significant change of stigma vigor between the two CMS lines after treated under high temperature 35 ℃ and low temperature 15 ℃.[Conclusion] The study provide a theoretical basis for hybrid rice seed production in Northern China.
