The Combined Treatment of the Impacted Anterior Maxillary Teeth by Surgery and Orthodontics.

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the result for treating the impacted anterior maxillary teeth by surgery and orthodontics. Methods 18 patients with impacted anterior maxillary teeth were treated by surgical and orthodontic approach. Results All the maxillary impacted anterior teeth of the 18 cases were aligned into the dentition, and no postoperative complications were found. Conclusion The combined treatment of surgery and orthodontics could be an effective way to deal with the impacted anterior maxillary teeth.
