Abstract

The quasi-steady multicomponent droplet evaporation model was employed to investigate the evaporation process of different concentration ethanol solution droplet in the station environment. The calculational results were consisitent with experiments. As evaporation goes on,ethanol concentration of droplet becomes lower and evaporation of droplet becomes slower. When surrounding temperature and ethanol concentration are high, evaporation of droplet is fast.It is crutial different with evaporation of single component droplet that nondimentional area of bicomponent droplet is not linear to time.
