The Hard Way——The interpretation of the narrative voice in Jane Eyre

Abstract

Jane Eyre has been misleaded to be a paradigm of redical feminism for many years.From the unique visual angle,the feminists found that the inner links between narrative voice and female thoughts which is also the point that traditional narrative can't reach.This essay is devoted to interpret Jane Eyre which is the stand for Charlotte Bronte,and also use the relative theories on narratology and feminism to analyse,interpret this novel,then discusses the hardship and the effort which all the female writer compet for discourse rights and establish discourse authority in their novels through the angle of narrative voice.It analyses the problem which the thoughts in novels of the female writers are restricted by narrative voice of narrator as well.The result is that the effort of female writers gains the discourse rights in literature history for women,and points out a way of shaking off the control of male power for the realistic women in spirit as well.
