Abstract
The principle and mechanism of the network simulator (NS) are discussed and analyzed in this paper.Through an example,the simulation process of network experimentation is described,and a solution of doing network experimentation emulation is presented.Using route option and TTL field of IP protocol,have implemented network topology structure detection.Network protocols are understood deeply through capturing and analyzing network information.
