Abstract
The operation 凵 is defined in the dual quantale and its new properties are discussed.The necessary and sufficient condition for an unital quantale to be a dual quantale is obtained,based on which,a characterization for an unital quantale to be a dual quantale is given. Finally,a sufficient condition for a subquantale of a dual quantale to be a dual quantale is given.
