Abstract

Fuyu oil-bearing reservoir of Fuyu oilfield lacks basic researches on sediment and reservoir. Sedimentary characteristics, sedimentary microfacies and sedimentary evolvement were studied with analysis of core and geophysics well-logging data, etc. At the period of deposition of Fuyu reservoir in the Southern Part of Songliao Basin, the bedrock sank uniformly and slowly, and the topography of the basin was very flat, thus led to the development of a shallow water delta at the shallow water setting and the lake surface broaden. The distributary channel advanced toward the center of the lake over a long distance through filling deposition and branching channel frequently, and developed obvious subaqueous distributary channel at wide shallow water delta front. The oil-bearing reservoir was developed by both channel sand body which had cut and folded each other. The big difference between the shallow water delta and traditional delta is the topography between the delta plain and delta front was flat, without three-folded structure. The sedimentary model of shallow water branched delta was developed under the influence of more strong fluviatile hydrodynamics. This study is an important foundation for research of residual oil and further oilfield production adjust.
