Abstract

To verify the clinical effect of Chinese medicine Changyankang on swine infected with Escherichia coli artificially, drug treatment tests were carried out in swines. After artificial infection with E.coli 301,pigs were randomly divided into high, middle and low doses of Changyankang groups, gentamicin control group and positive group. The results showed that Changyankang group added to the feed with the dose of 10 g/kg ·BW exhibited obvious and reliable efficacy on colibacillosis of swine, and significantly reduced mortality. The cure and effective rate were 86.7% and 100% respectively.
