We expatiate on proofreading,under the network times,in 4 aspects: proofreading objects,proofreading tools,proofreading functions and proofreading methods,present the concept of modern proofreading work and the requirements for proofreader's quality,and put forward suggestions on proofreading personnel cultivation.
