Title is the soul of the whole writings and has close connection with the plot, characters and writing style and adds the finishing touch.Hemingway’s titles of novels are full of artistry and rich ideological implication and creates unique literature situation and shows charming creative style by widely applying various techniques of pun,symbol, quotation and contrast and so on.The article takes Hemingway's famous novels such as A Farewell to Arms and The Old Man and the Sea as examples,analyzes concrete usages and profound connotation from different angles to understand the profound significance of Hemingway’s writings more deeply by the explanation of the art of title.
