Abstract
The cation exchange capacity,the exchange degrees of coordinated cations and the exchange amounts of K~+,Na~+,Ca~(2+) in Baimiaozi Clinoptilolite were studied by using hydrothermal cation exchange technology.The results showed that the exchange capacity of ammonium cation was 1.73 mmol/g and the exchange degree of coordinated cations was Ca~(2+)K~+Mg~(2+)Na~+.The exchange amount of K~+ was 78.2 mg/g belonging to the super capacity exchange in NH~+_4 modified sample,and the exchange amount of Ca~(2+) was 32.4 mg/g in Na~+ modified sample.Baimiaozi clinoptilolite can be applied in the K~+ abstraction from seawater and softening of hard water.
