Rhetoric in the Fables of “Zhuangzi” and its Interpretation

Zhuangzi is generally considered as a founder as well as a practioner of fabulous rhetoric and fabulous style of writing in China. In his book Zhuangzi, he, besides using a lot of metaphors, exaggerations, contrasts, personifications and ironies, made good use of a language phicosophy understood as Beyond words and created other two figures of speech, synecdoche and serial storytelling, which give light to the application of fabulous rhetoric and fabulous style of writing by the writers afterwards.
