Epistemology and theory of knowledge are different concepts in terms o f history and logic. Epistemology is largely a branch of philosophy, and the ory of knowledge results from interdisciplinary research. Social epistemology and t heory of knowledge differ from their theoretical background and perspective. Di a lectical social epistemology and analytic social epistemology are two internal s chools of social epistemology.
