Identification Methods of Lonicera japonica and Lonicera confusa

In this paper,it was found that the source of honeysuckle is Lonicera japonica Thunb.and the sources of Lonicera confusa are Lonicera macranthoides Hand.-Mazz.,Lonicera hypoglauca Miq.,Lonicera confusa DC.and Lonicera fulvotomentosa Hsu et S.C.Cheng.Based on the traits of buds including the bud surface,calyx tube,calyx teeth,filaments,bud's size,and the internal microstructure,and chemical composition such as volatile oil,flavonoids,organic acids etc.and DNA fingerprinting,a multi information way which can distinguish Lonicera japonica and Lonicera confusa was built to promote the rational development and utilization of Lonicera japonica and Lonicera confusa resources,and the real,high quality,stable and controllable Lonicera japonica herbs could be obtained.
