Abstract
Xunzi proposed the principle of self-discipline, philanthropism, setting oneself an example to others, controlling profit by justice, and personality independence, etc. which not only had positive factors in constructing honest and clean government at that time, but also has important modern values in the construction of Communist Party honest and clean government.
