Abstract
In view of the high-volume computing features of real-time video monitoring system,an embedded video monitoring system based on the DaVinci technology is provided. This system makes full use of the TMS320DM6467 ARM+DSP dual-core processing power to improve the system performance and reduce the development cycle. The video data are transmitted from control module to the monitor terminal on UDP protocol using the embedded Web server implanted in the ARM core.In addition, the ARM core with the use of multi-threaded task mechanism fully utilizes the system resources and achieves a better control effect.H.264 video data coding in DSP core greatly enhances the efficiency of coding data. The scalability of this system is increased by the modularization design throughout the development of the entire system.
