Abstract
Loess Plateau is one of the most serious regions of ecological imbalance in China.A series of ecological and environmental questions in the area not only threaten local people's livelihood and rural health, but also affect the environmental quality and sustainable economic-social development in the western region of China. Therefore,it has become very important to enhance the eco-environmental construction under the guidance of the theory and practice of ecological restoration in this region. The authors analyzed the characteristics and main questions in the process of loess plateau formation and development, and gave four aspects of countermeasures about how to well carry out ecological restoration and environmental construction in this region.
