Current Development of Environmental Liability Insurance in China

In view of the importance of environmental liability insurance in promoting environmental protection,protecting the interests of victims,maintaining the stability business of polluting company,and reducing the pressure on government finances,the paper introduces the concept and development process of environmental liability insurance,analyzes the progress of the pilot and the relevant bill,studies the current problems,and gives policy recommendations to the executive strategy,comprehensively researches on the development status of environmental liability insurance for local governments to practice and promote environmental liability insurance system,and provide a reference ideas for close combination market-based instruments with environmental management.
