Study on Drought Resistance of Five Groundcover Plants

Abstract

Experiments were conducted on drought resistance of five groundcover plants like Eurya japonica,E.emarginata,Raphiolepis umbellate,Syzygium buxifolium and Ilex crenata in lab.Container seedlings of these plants were treated by drought stress.Morphological change,moisture content of treated seedlings was observed.Evaluation on drought resistance of tested plants by subordinate function demonstrated the order was: S.buxifolium E.emarginata R.umbellate I.Crenata E.japonica.
