Abstract
This paper is intended to study English and Chinese Phonetics and Phonology from the viewpoint of contrastive analysis. According to the comparison from the perspective of phonology, syllable, intonation and rhythm, we explore the differences between the two systems with hope of improving our teaching of English Phonetics.
