Abstract
Regarding the large aircraft as measuring objects,the oscillation period can be gotten through hanging oscillation,and the moment of inertia can be gained from some correlative numeration.The method to measure the moment of inertia is described and engineering errors are calculated and analyzed.Also several key aspects in designing such kind of mechanism are concluded.Results of engineering check with aerial bomb show that the structure can fully meet to the functional requirements and the full measurement precision can achieve more than 1%.It can make accurate measuring in testing the moment of inertia for various kinds of large objects.
