Analysis on development mode of modern service industry based on diamond model

Facing with the holistic backwardness of development level of service industry in China,especially the lag of modern service industry development featured with high technology intensity,high knowledge content,high added value,low power consumption,low material consumption,and low pollution,it has become a key point of improving the socialization degree of production and deepening the reform of market economy system to accelerate the development of modern service industry.Based on Porter's diamond model,the restricting factors of modern service industry development are explored through empirical study,which finds the industrial added value,the urbanization level,and the RD/GDP are important factors inflencing modern service industry development.Three modes of modern service industry development are proposed accoding to it,namely,the production factor-driven development mode,the urban demand-pulled development mode,and the related industry-supported development mode.Furthermore,countermeasures are proposed to promote the core competitiveness of modern service industry accordingly.
