Abstract

Objective:Aim to evaluate the clinical effects of small-incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL) implantation.Methods:Anti-brow or linear trans-sclera micro-incision was made in right upper quadrant. After continuous curvilinear capsule orhexis and hydrodissection, the nuclear floating in anterior chamber, then double-knife plane nucleus cutting is performed.Evisceration by Infusion lens loop and I0L were implanted into the capsular bag.Long term follow-upsurvey.Results: Follow-up ats after surgery one week, one month and 8.8 month averagely.Visual acuity was 0.5 or better in 114 eyes(68.28%),133 eyes(79.64%) and 139 eyes(83.23%) respectly. There were less complications occurred intraoperatively of postoperatively. Conclusions: Small-incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens(I0L) implantation is suitable for basic-level hospitals because it is simple, satisfactory and inexpensive.
