Vocabulary learning strategies for English majors at vocational college: experimental study

Abstract

This paper discusses the influence of vocabulary learning strategies training on English majors at vocational colleges.Nighty-four freshmen majoring in Business English participated in this experiment.Qualitative and quantitative analysis shows that vocabulary learning strategies can help students effectively learn vocabulary strategies and improve vocabulary level.Suggestions are proposed on the syllabus,teaching methods and learning motivation of vocabulary learning strategies training in the future.
