Abstract

A spectrophotometric methed for the determination of Ir(Ⅲ) on the oxidative fading arsenazo- DBM with KIO_(4) in acid medium . the methed offers the advantages of simplicity, rapidity, and sensitivity. Beer's Law is obeyed from 0.1 to 1.0 μg Ir/ml and the determination limits is 0.1 μg Ir/ml. The catalytic Reaction occurs in water phase.
